I've never really understood the appeal of Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen. Sure they were super cute on "Full House" but as they got older, the cuteness factor was lost on me. Their fashion "style" is also a mystery. Their clothes and accessories are just too much. The clothes are usually ill fitting and I feel like any minute that the sheer weight of their clothing will crush their frail, sometimes anorexia bodies. For example, I know I usually have tons of bags to carry in teh airport and who wouldn't want to carry the Hermes Kelly bag (is that in teal?) but I really think that a carry-on our be much easier.

The People's Choice Awards aired last night, and I totally fell in LOVE with the dress Cameron Diaz wore to the ceremony. To tell the truth I'm not much of a fan of hers, and Im usually not crazy about her style, but this quirky black party dress is just adorable on her. It totally fits her personality. It's also a hard look to wear, I mean a dress like that adds so much width to the middle that you'd have to be pretty small to begin with. However, Cameron pulls it of perfectly!

Halle Berry seems to have a penchant for gold and metallic shades recently. Eh, I'm not crazy about the cut off his dress, and the color reminds me of a bronzed statue. And at the same time everyone's wondering if she's pregnant...well, if she is, I wouldn't be able to tell here!

At the National Board of Review Awards show few days ago there were some pretty chic looks. None of those, however, belonged to Sarah Jessica Parker. I would easily believe that she's wearing this dress backwards.

And lastly, I think Jennifer Hudson will quickly become one of the premiere fashionista's in Hollywood. The girl looks fabulous 95% of the time, and this flattering look is no exception. I would totally steal her or Penelope Cruz's LBD.

Not quite shoe heaven, but this is Carmen Electra at the GM Design Center. GM? Eh? Yup, this is the same GM that is in the auto business. Apparently, this is for a fashion show where celebs are partnered with new GM cars for additional press. For the event, celebs were dressed by celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe.

If I were presented with so many shoe options, I wouldn't even know where to begin. Come to think of it, I would probably have already fainted from happiness.

What does Brad Pitt expect from his children? Fame? Fortune? To take care of him when he's old?

Brad says "My expectations about being a dad are being excelled daily. There is nothing more satisfying for me than to help
<place>Shiloh</place> burp.

"When I tuck the children in at night I always take the time to talk to them. I enjoy sitting on their bed and watching them fall asleep. "

AWWWWW!

Zebra, leopard, florals, you name it....these are just a few of the prints and patterns we can cover our legs in. Printed tights are supposed to be all the rage, but I'm still scratching my head. I mean, I DO love the knit tights from Bebe, I think they're very wearable. However, all the other styles strike me as the exact opposite. The pink floral tights are gorgeous, but what would I wear them with? Something plain, obviously, but even with a dress that's all one color I think those would STILL be overpowering, and perhaps a tad bit....tacky? There, I said it. I really think wearing those stockings would make a girl look like a bit of a floozy. However, more power to you if you have the guts, and just MAYBE you'll prove me wrong! As of right now I think I'll pass on this trend, but to tell the truth I hear more hype about it then I actually see people sporting it.

Although I WOULD love to get my hands on the pair Victoria Beckham is wearing!

Rocking a look similiar Cameron Diaz in "Something About Mary" is Gwen Stefani. I'm hoping that she's using hairspray or gellto hold up her bangs and not what Cameron Diaz used.

I wonder if this will start a new trend with bangs? In elementary school, I used to use a bottle of hair spray a day to achieve high bangs. Perhaps the trend is coming back?

Check out Britney Spears sporting it at a Letterman show wearing a design by another fellow rocker, Gwen Stefani.

The interlaced black ovals with a nude organza makes this a classy yet modern outfit. Available at Nordstroms for $565. Alas, it is out of my price range.

Nicole Richie looked the best she has in years at the American Music Awards this week. She's obviously put on about 10lbs or so in the last few weeks, when she was at her thinnest. But where did the boobs come from?? Word on the street say someone might have had some tiny implants put in to really emphasize the weigt gain. Interesting indeed! Nicole could still put on a good 15lbs, but I can't deny how gorgeous her sparkly tube dress was.

Beyonce was at this same event wearing one of my favorite designers, Elie Saab. Elie always makes fabulous red carpet gown, and this silhoutte is pretty common in his collection. To tell the truth I'm still kind of on the fence with this look. It's flowy and gives Beyonce the chance to show off some striking poses, but I think there's a little bit TOO much going on with all the ties and straps hanging from the dress. But it sure makes for a stunning entrance!

Surprisingly actress Sharon Stone was at the award show as well. Her dropped waist dress totally caught my eye, it's just so young, hip and fashion forward. These dropped waist dresses are great, but can be kind of hard to wear. I tried one on at Express a few months back, but I was so indecisive about the silhoutte on my figure that I opted for something a bit more tradition! Now of course I can't find a dress like this anywhere and I wish I had made a different decision!

Lindsay Lohan is always a little fashion plate, although I'm not always impressed by her choices. But her look at the launch of Donna Karan's new perfume was a major fashion hit. My guess is Ms. Karen herself dressed Lindsay, so the credit goes to her for this great look. I like the way the dress just hangs, like most of the trends right now, and kind of resembles chain maile. Very original!

My favorite look this week was, hands down, what Jennifer Lopez wore to the Free Clinic Gala. Gorgeous! There are so many hot trends going on with this outfit. I especially like how they mixed the 60's shift dress with the poet sleeves. And the embriodery really makes it special. On top of that it's short and sexy, without looking trashy. Great color too!

As someone who is vertically challenged, I'm anxious at what I see is a new trend....horizontal stripes. Jenny McCarthy and Britney Spears were both seen wearing this out and about and though they look so cute and great in their sweaters, I will not speculate that it will look good for the rest of us average mortals.

Now you can own the same clothing worn by Britney when she was seen happily skating at the Rockefeller last week. Although her star has fallen a lot over the years, I'm still rooting for her.

Carmen Electra is seen at the Victor & Rolf launch party for H&M. I love how you can buy the same top as Carmen is modelling (or something similiar and by the same designers) and not have to give up your first born. Judging from the H&M website, the shirt is available for $39. What a bargain.

BTW, the Dutch designers created the collection with a theme of love & weddings. You can even purchase a wedding dress for only $350.

For the most part, I dislike any emails from vendors - usually they are spam. However, I recently signed up for InStyle's look of the day email and I really like it. I get to see my favorite celebrities and the brands they are wearing.

According to InStyle, this lovely number modelled by Mrs. Kutcher (aka Demi Moore) is by J.Mendel. The only gripe is that Instyle does not link to vendors where you can purchase the clothing. They link to sites where you can only by similiar looks.

BTW, what is Demi's secret? Hot husband and killer looks (at age 40+ no less).

Britney Spears gave new meaning to low risers. Now the trend is not how low you can go, but how high. As seen by Victoria Beckham and Mischa Barton, skirts are on their way up in this world. I like this look because it really elongates the legs. Also, I've seen a bit too many cracks with the low risers that I didn't want to.
